Hermes is a long-haired domestic. He was born around March 17, 2006, on a horse ranch south of town. He looked so much like my Bubba cat I just had to have him in my home. Of course, when I first brought Hermes home HER name was Hermione. Both the vet and I thought she was a girl. Much to the vet's chagrin, he discovered after he had made the incision for the spaying 3 months later that Hermione was actually a boy! I changed his name to Hermes. Hermes' nick name is Grey Thing because of all the fur. He is the most mellow of my four cats and very bossy. He's always making a move toward being top cat, but I'm not sure if he will ever knock Huxley off the throne.
